Choose a profile for the pool edge
Single bullnose coping has a rounded edge and is commonly used at pool edges, steps and wall caps. Double and triple bullnose profiles create different edge treatments and suit different conditions.
Rectangular coping can be specified in straight or radius forms. Ask the supplier which dimensions and corner units are available for the selected range.
Plan corners and transitions
Internal and external corners, right-angle returns and curved pool edges need particular attention. Confirm the direction of each corner and provide a measured plan so the correct components can be selected.
Check how coping meets skimmer boxes, steps, paving and other fixed details. The installer should determine suitable joints and movement allowances for the pool and surrounding surface.
Check dimensions before ordering
Measure the actual pool edge and confirm the product size, thickness and overhang with the installer. Do not assume a standard coping size will match every pool.
Review the [pool coping range](/our-products/) and ask a qualified installer to verify the layout. The [project gallery](/our-projects/) includes examples of coping combinations.
