Traditional and Classic
Traditional has a more even, tile-like appearance. Classic is designed to evoke natural stone, with variation that can make a paved area feel less uniform.
Both finishes can work across patios and paths. Consider the house facade, garden materials and joint pattern alongside the sample rather than choosing texture in isolation.
Distinctive and Effects
Distinctive reveals some aggregate, while Effects is coarser and exposes more. This creates a stronger visual texture and can help paving read as a feature surface.
The appearance depends on the colour and aggregate as well as the finish. Ask to view samples in daylight and shade, and check more than one piece to understand natural variation.
Honed
Honed is a smoother, polished surface that shows the aggregate in a different way. Discuss the intended location and maintenance with the supplier and installer before specifying it.
