Start with gentle, regular care

Remove leaves and loose dirt with a broom. For ordinary surface dirt, use water and a cleaning method appropriate for the product, testing a small inconspicuous area first.

Clean spills promptly because some substances can leave a mark if they remain on porous concrete. Avoid assuming that a household cleaner is suitable for every finish.

Use specialist cleaners carefully

Commercial products for efflorescence or stains can affect concrete if misused. Follow the cleaner’s instructions and confirm compatibility with the paver and any sealer before applying it across a large area.

Do not combine cleaning chemicals. If a stain is persistent or the surface is valuable, ask a professional cleaning or sealing company for advice.

Keep drainage and joints clear

Clear debris from drains and keep the area around outlets free-flowing. If water pools or joints change, ask the installer to assess the cause rather than masking the symptom.
